Our Story

I created Lotus when I was pregnant with my son, Jaylen, during the Covid-19 pandemic. I found shopping for stretch mark creams and oils  frustrating because it was hard to find anything without harsh chemicals. So I started creating simple DIY belly butters to help reduce the appearance of my stretch marks. With many trial and errors, I was able to find the perfect formulas for myself and many other mothers.

 

When my son was born, February 1 of 2021 weighing at only 2 lbs 14 oz, I quickly realized how sensitive his skin was and how I feared he'd breakout from ingredients in products I'd been gifted from my registry. So because he was so small,  he stayed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for a little over a month, during that time I decided to created natural baby butter especially made to keep my baby moisturized without any added toxins.  I handmade everything I applied to my sons skin. Unfortunately, my son passed suddenly with no warning signs caused by Group B Strep which escalated to Meningitis/Sepsis. He became my guardian angel baby April 24, 2021. 10% of sales will be going to International research for Group B Strep.
